Online Student Teaching Grading Process-TaskStream

Midterm and Final Evaluations and Grade Forms are completed electronically via the TaskStream Website.

  1. The Student Teacher, Cooperating Teacher, and Faculty Supervisor are provided with instructions for creating TaskStream Accounts in the Electronic Welcome packets. Once everyone has an account, the Student Teacher will submit the evaluation forms to the Cooperating Teacher and Faculty Supervisor in TaskStream
  2. The Cooperating Teacher and Faculty Supervisor will complete the evaluations in TaskStream, and then release the evaluations back to the Student Teacher for viewing. The Faculty Supervisor will also complete Midterm and Final Grading Forms with input being provided by the Cooperating Teacher. Student Teacher will post the Final Grade Form to the Assignments Write-Only newsgroup in the Final Seminar within one week of practicum completion.
  3. The Field Placement Administrator will view the completed Evaluations and Grade Forms in TaskStream. The FPA will also be available to provide assistance when needed.
  4. The Student Teacher will post the Midterm Grade Form to their Individual Forum in the First Seminar prior to the end of the course. The Student Teacher will post the Final Grade Form to their Individual Forum in the Final Seminar within one week of practicum completion.
  5. Final Seminar Faculty issues Final Seminar grade based on the following parameters:

    • Teacher Work Sample = 30% (10% for Standard 5; 10% for Standard 6; & 10% for Standard 7)
    • TaskStream Directed Response Folio = 20%
    • Student Teaching = 50%
