Financing Your Education

Continuing your education is an exciting process. One major part of your educational experience is financing your education.

This orientation will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and is designed to provide you with an overview of the financial information to help you on your Path to Success. It will cover the following topics:

• Step 1 - Defining the Terms: Financial Language You Will Need to Know
• Step 2 - Taking a Break: Schedule Changes and Leaves of Absence
• Step 3 - Using Other People's Money: Title IV Stafford Loans, PLUS Loans, Federal & State Grants, Scholarships
• Step 4 - Applying for a Loan: The Application Process
• Step 5 - Keeping on Track: Successful Loan Management

At the end of this orientation, you will be asked to print a certificate of completion. Be sure to keep a copy of this certificate for your records.
