Changes in Your Schedule

It's important to remember that any schedule change may affect your loan status, and may decrease your loan eligibility.

Federal financial aid is awarded based on your continuous attendance for the academic year. If you are out of attendance for more than 29 days any financial aid you are receiving may be returned to the lender.

In order to avoid cancellation or rejection of your federal funding, it is important to notify your Academic Counselor and your Finance Counselor in advance so a Leave of Absence form can be filed. This can help keep your funding from being cancelled or returned.
